Hi folks-while my engine is being rebuilt, I took the time to have the interior redone. I've got it all back, and it looks great, but the downside is that A) this will shock you to no end, but a car actually comes apart much easier than it goes back together. no, really. it's actually true. and B) since the parts all have new leather, the screw/nut/etc holes down scream out at you in an obvious fashion. So, in the interest of keeping a bunch of dumb questions in one thread, I hope you'll suffer my foolishness gladly, and maybe give me some tips if you've been down this road.

The first two that are jumping out at me:

1-the lower two screws/bolts that hold the armrests to the door. are these philips head screws, or 6mmx1mm bolts?

2-the enclosure that holds the clock and oil temp gauge, how does this mount to the underside of the dash?

Thanks. more dumb questions surely to come.

My armrests are screws. I am not confident they are the original though.

Tip: list the year/model of the car. Not all years have the same interior.

    Thanks-apologies! 1978 308 GTS.

I have the armrests in properly. Next up: stereo/center console air vents....
