Hi all-blew the valve when opened under high pressure-trying to bleed system-I should have let it cool a bit. Anyway, the question is, do I need to remove the heater box to get at the valve or can I just remove the brake fluid resorviors? Also, has anyone used a fiat part or must I spend extra for the Ferrari one? Many thanks in advance-Scot

I'm pretty sure (long time since I replaced one) that the valve can be replaced without removing anything major - certainly not the heater box. The valve is fixed to the heater box with two 10mm spanner size nuts and I seem to recall cutting a ring spanner in half so that it would fit in the restricted space.
