i was wondering if there are any Ferrari chat members that can help me.

my last name is Morett, and we have traced one side of our family history to Guadalajara and Colima.

my grandfather was from this area of Mexico and met my grandmother, who was from Guadalajara. i do know the family there in Mexico has status and businesses in both Mexico city and Cancun.

i do remember my cousins and family telling me our family tree went way back to a race of Indians from the Colima area. i thought they were joking, and these discussions took place when i was young and lived in California.

i have been in Georgia since 1979 or so. i can read only a little Spanish, but will be willing to learn to find out more about my family heritage.

i found out there is a Archaelogy book about the Morett "site" by a author named Clement Woodward Meighan. i plan to find a copy of this work asap.

my questions center around any local history or stories that may be known about this area, and what it means to be from this area.

i know this post has no "Ferrari content" but i have been a member of this community for some time, so i hope the Moderators will allow this to be here.

any help at all, would be great.

its a strange sensation to find out at the age of 35 so much about where your ancestors came from.
