Help required 328 lower wing corrosion

Hi all,
Unfortunately I have to look for a front drivers side lower wing (next to the door jamb), due to corrosion, can some one please point me in the right direction for suppliers or part numbers etc, or is it a case of finding a restorer to actually fabricate this lower panel.

A decent body shop should be able to insert new metal from the middle line going down

You can get a repair panel for this section of the wing, but a lot of restorers make their own!

Have a word with Nino for the number of a local company to do this for you!

All is well, hope all West Mids are keeping fine.

Thanks for the info, I will drop Nino an email for contacts and suppliers of the repair panel.

I went to Auto Italia last week to look around cars in a field, the first event I have managed to get to this year due work comittments, still I have booked the concourse Sunday off work so hopefully will see some of you there.

The k/s wing, nose and d/s wing is one panel. Hence you'll need somebody who can do a decent fabrication, cut and weld.

I used Alun Wiltshire - Alsa Automotive and he did a brilliant job - you can feel or see any of the repairs and some were quite extensive. My 308 needed the same repair you are describing on both front lower wings (amongst other repairs).

I know he is bust, but maybe worth a chat.
