Help Us Save the Airport at Sterling, MA (3B3)​

If you’ve ever wondered if five minutes of your time can make a difference, this request for your help will convince you!
American Express is sponsoring The Members Project and will support a project submitted by a member to a maximum of 5 million dollars. We have a project in their "contest" that could help purchase and preserve the Sterling airport. But, we need your help. AMEX needs to see a high number of votes in favor of our project in order to be among the top 50 projects under consideration. And, the voting must be done before June 17th. Your help is urgently needed right now.
Here’s what is involved: First, you must already be an American Express card holder. If you don’t have an AMEX card perhaps you could persuade a friend or relative to do you a favor? Next, assuming you’re a card holder:
A. log into the AMEX home page at: https://home.americanexpress.com or the usual URL when you check into your account.
B. Input User ID and Password
C. View bottom left screen and click "Join something good…Members Project"

You should be viewing The Members Project page.
A. Register. Enter User ID and Password, again.
B. Click "Log In Now".

You should be viewing a list of projects.
A. On the left, highlight "community development".
B. Sort by Date Posted. Now hit "Next" until you reach 06/07/07. Slow down and look for our project, "Help Us Save the Airport at Sterling, MA (3B3)" and click on the title.

You’re on the last and most important page. This is where you get to vote.
A. Read the brief description of our project (Project ID: 04584)
B. Place your cursor on 5 stars and click.
C. Click on "See What’s Being Said"
D. Feel free to add a supporting remark in "Add Your Comment".
E. Don’t forget to click "Submit".

If we can get around 150 folks to rank our project highly, we should be able to get into the top 50 projects. Every vote counts when we’re dealing with such small numbers. Please vote today as the deadline is June 17, 2007.
