Steve,... you got the most beautyful of the TR lot. I understand about the CS itch..... it will go away, trust me. But, keep the F512M. You have done a lot to it. The CS isn't a better car, just different from the F512M. We all have this itches for a new tech, new feeling, new smell, new power but would we like it more than our old one, we never know until it's too late........

SteveF and F512M goes together. I say...keep her. As you said, the values might hold well and give or take a few years you'll be able to afford the CS. Great car the CS is, however the M is last of it's breed and that to me is enuff said.

Steve, personally, I would keep the M, but I also like to change cars and can understand your itch.
You don't really sound like you want to sell it anyway! Secondly, it will be much harder to find a good 512M than a CS.

Hi Steve. Don't sell it. That M is already a legend. The last of it's kind. A true classic and motorcar. That M will only go up in value. It's super rare.

I don't know you .....but from the odd post I have read of yours I didnt even think 8-Cylinder was in your vocabulary ;)

    Just my .02

The CS is also the last of its progeny. And you only live once, so go for it. However, I predict you will miss the torque. ;)

Keep the 512m, you will regret it when it's gone. But if you really like to sell it,PM me with a price. I would seriously love to take it off your hands.

Steve put the bourbon down and step away from the title! Now go start up that flat 12 and sit in those gorgeous seats, breathe very deeply and count to 10 very slowly, that will sober you up enough to go down to the dealer and trade it for a CS.

just kidding!!!! Keep the M, it sounds so good and has just the right amount of cylinders :D

Selling an M for a CS, are you nuts or something?! Maybe your getting senile in your "old age".

The M is an ALL time classic don't get rid of it.

Well Steve, you must admit, it is very rare to get this kind of consensus on ANY issue on board. I guess you have no choice....!
When I traded from 12 to 8 I missed the torgue quite a bit. However, my need was weight and tossability so overall, it was a good trade and seldom regretted. But if you have the roads to properly exercise the 12, and it sounds like you do, I would keep the 12 for sure.

Very true! The Challenge Stradale is definitely one of my favorite Ferraris, but I wouldn't trade a F512M for one.

    i am curious...should we start a thread...

how many people that ask for opinions from the f-chat forum, just do it for the the hell of it and actually already have their minds made up already?

or how many are actually influenced?

if the later is true here, you will be keeping that exclusive beast and continue to make an event out of each ride/journey!!!!!

please keep that m as it is a true thoroughbred!!!

Steve this must a tough decision for you. Dont giver her up. The owners lucky to have a 512m in their stable should never loose hold of her. Today by many, she's underappreciated as the rarest of Testarossa's, yet she is waiting to take her position as THE ultimate TR to own and collect.

It warms the heart to read fellow fchatters comments to keep her.

    Steve,
As an owner of a humble 88TR, I implore you to keep your M: it will attain sure "legend" status with time!
