    Well it sure as shht isn't $300 worth. You can get to that thing easy. It's right behind were the shift linkage is attached to the selector/slider. You don't even need to fool with the shift cables on the slider. The slider is held on with ONE allen screw. Undo the screw then move the shift lever into 3rd, presto the slider is out of the way, with the cables still attached, and you have access to the seal. I can get to that seal in MINUTES.

    "Oh, you want gas, in a Ferrari? Thatz 40 bucks a gallon. " LOL. Machine shops charge an hour even if they just pop a bearing off a shaft in 30 seconds. Either take your time and do it yourself or bring a wheelbarrow full of money and plenty of KY.
