So I have a 94 348 spyder, with a digital clock that just flashes 12:00 continuously. So I have tried to set the time and then it reverts to the 12:00 flashing. How do you correct this or get to the correct time setting?

    thnx

It is possible that your AC ECU has lost its permanent 12V supply which, amongst other things, maintains the clock time (also when the ignition, and the clock display, are off). This supply comes, via a thin brown wire, from the connection of the "hidden fuse" to the AC relay and goes to Pin 1 of the AC ECU connector (see the pinout below). Inspecting and cleaning the connector may solve the problem. If you find that you have permanent 12V on Pin 1, then perhaps cleaning of the AC ECU's internal connector pins (between the two "sandwich" pc boards) may be required. If this still does not solve the problem, then the clock circuitry has probably failed.

The reset procedure is on page H7 in the 348 workshop manual. It should reset easily if you follow the correct steps in the correct order.

You're probably not setting it correctly it is a bit confusing cuz when you set it you can actually set the seconds and then it gets very confusing. Just set the hour and the minute and try that.
