This is again a perfect example of why you should know with whom you are dealing! Get full first and last names. "Bobby"? Bobby who? How do you track this person?

Put the phone numbers into all search engines and see what turns up. Do the same for the parties names!

You would be amazed with the # of court records and personal info that pop up with these searches!

Lawdog, this is now a criminal matter because while your party breached the terms of the written agreement (civil matter), his refusal to return your $ in full is fraud! And if you can show he had formed that intent not to return all your $ prior to or at the time of signing, that's further proof of fraud. You can find this out by doing the mentioned searches. You are obviously not the first!

Go after this with local DA's office, Pa registry motor vehicles, dealer registrations, PA secretary of State, etc.

Under "resources" he lists Putnam Leasing. Contact Putnam and tell them your experience. You think they want their name on a dealership that does these tricks? Don't leave any stones un-turned!

Don't let it slip. Don't tell him what you plan. Just do it and you'll get the balance back!
