Can someone help me to identify the pictured item(s)? They seem identical to the GTS top storage sleeve at maybe 1/6 the size each (dinner plate sized). I could not locate the part on Ricambi but cannot shake the feeling that it is some weird abandoned part post-1995...thx.

I have one of those for the '97 GTS. It has my targa cover folded inside.

Haven't had time to investigate further.

    Correct. That's what it is.

The cover for the roof that you use when the roof is stored behind the seats goes in it.

    So yes, it's a cover for a cover. :)

So Ken you only need one per GTS.

    I like the T-top effect...

But if I buy this cover for my cover it's a slippery slope. Then I will need to buy the cover for the cover for the cover.... then what? I'll need to buy the bag for the car cover. Then the storage bag for the bag for the car cover.... It never ends.

It keeps getting smaller. Eventually you can put it in the glove box or your pocket! Of course, the cost keeps going up as the package gets smaller. Microscopic pouch for pouch for pouch for pouch costs $1000+!!!!

Thanks to all for the clarification.

But please double-check to make certain everything is covered:

The GTS cover (when not covering) goes in the pouch (which is covering) which goes in the car which can be covered by the car cover (which has its own pouch but no cover) as the car rests in the garage (which is also covered). Hopefully that explanation covers everything.

Basically it is an Italian nesting doll of sorts.

    I think that covers it.

In reality, this is one more accessory to put on my list of stupid stuff to buy to make my car complete. I have the targa cover but not this targa cover pouch. Why do we love these cars so much again? :)

What I find more interesting is that Eurospares link list the cover for the 348 and 355 as the same part number but different prices. F355 owners get off cheaper for some reason.

Steve - you may be in luck as I seem to have two pouches for my one cover! I have two GTS models right now so give me 24 hours to investigate and do the complex math and if I can count three, then one can go.
