Montage Deer Valley has true ski in/ski out and has complimentary shuttle service down to Main Street. I think it's the nicest hotel in PC, but then again, I may be biased since I work there.

If you want Park City, not Deer Valley, and be downtown close to most restaurants and bars Marriott in town is probably your best bet. Marriott on the hill is not too far but lots of stairs up fom town or a cab ride. Silver King(not sure of king part maybe Queen) or sky lodge across the street are boutique hotels in town also lift close and very much restaurant and bar close. Everything else is further away needing car or cab for both. Deer Valley has St Regis, Montage, Stein Erickson and Goldener Hirsch, all ski in ski out and limited restaurant choices but cab or drive to downtown Park City for most restaurants and bars.

The best of both worlds exist at the town Marriott and none of the above are far(5-10 min) from town. I own a town home near Stein Ericksons, mid level Deer Valley and it's the best. Four restaurants I walking distance and short drive downtown but best ski in ski out compared to Park City(limited ski in ski out).

Remember, though, no snowboards at Park City.

Pm me if want more info, happy to help, do 30-40 ski days per yr there plus 30 days sring-fall

Just got back from park city today. The snow is minimal, plenty of rocks, probably on par with Tahoe. I stayed at Westgate at the canyons, would not do that again. I like UT in general, but would try the snowbird/Alta side instead.

Yesterday I was at my office until the exchange closed, and felt confident a trade and everything else was taken care of, and just had to get up to the slopes. So I grabbed my gear and made it to the PCMR parking garage, jumped on the Payday six pack by 3:45 (which seems late doesn't it?!)
I did non stops to get a burn in my legs, snapped a pic from the top of the chair and picked up my daughter from her moms by 5:30
    :)
