My wife (being a graphic artist) is desiging a flyer to put on the 308 for shows, what info should it contain ? how does this sound ? anything I need to add or take away ? Thanks ! 1985 Ferrrari 308 GTSi Quattrovalvole Owned by John and Kelly Perry 3,042 308 GTSi QV were built Powered by a 3.0 litre V8 hence the name (308) 235 hp 188 ft-lbs torque Length 172.4 in Width 67.7 in height 44.1 in The ferrari 308 is one of the most recognized ferraris ever produced. It was made famous by the television series Magnum P.I. It was designed by Pininfirina of Italy and was built at the Ferrari factory in Maranello Italy
they can touch it's just a car, now that being said, first peson who leans agaist it with a belt buckle gets smacked !! Bruce I edited it down some, better ?
Three minor suggestions: 1. The units for torque should be either: ft-lbs or lb-ft (not lbs/ft) 2. Perhaps saying something like: "The sensuous coachwork was designed by Pininfarina of Italy..." would be more accurate (i.e. PF didn't design the running gear). 3. Why not be more consistent in the model name? How about: "3,042 308 GTSi QV were built" (you don't need the plural "s"), and Powered by a 3.0 litre V8 engine with 4 valves per cylinder (hence the name -- "308 Quattrovalvole" or "308QV")
Sounds pretty good. Maybe pull this from here: http://www.qv500.com/ferrari308p9.php Launched during October 1982 at the Paris Salon, Ferrari's 308 Quattrovalvole marked an important return for the power that had been lost after the firms initial switch from carbs. Once again, the chassis, suspension and brakes were left unchanged, the engine receiving all the most significant upgrades. In order to recoup as many horses as possible, Ferrari's heavily revised powerplant, designated the Tipo F105 AB, featured four valve cylinder heads, the first production Ferrari motor completed as such.
Here's mine. I have it in several versions (stock 308, modified 308, stock 328) that I've done for several people. Image Unavailable, Please Login
That is great. Yes, I agree you can't use "sensuous" when speaking of a car in the south. I can't explain it but it just wouldn't work. You just have to live in the south to know what I mean. Off topic a little. How did you find out where your car was sold new?
I'm the second owner of record, and the car came with all the original documentation, including the warrantee/service book, which has the dealer and salesman info in it.
Spelling spider with a "y" makes me think Porsche. (I know, I know but my folders spell it with an "i")

Aaaak! It looks like that's only in my latest iteration, thankfully. Great eye -- thanks for catching that typo.
My wife finally got time to finish my flyer, what do you think, pretty cool huh ? Image Unavailable, Please Login
Thanks, Andreas ! I still see the picture on my post too, but Judge4re says he sees an "red X", strange. oops I see the bottom line Italy is misspelled !, looks like she's got some redoing to do
I see an "X" too. I like it. Can you make me one. the only change would be Owner's Name. If I could make one tiny suggestion, and yes I am very detail oriented ...make the "i" in GTSI a lower case "i"...GTSi. That's how it is on the passenger side dash.
