Help with access to the 512 TR a/c

I was repairing the thread of my tow hook and dropped the tap into the cavity under the a/c condenser (or is it the evaporator I am never sure about these terms) anyway the radiator thingie in the front. Then I dropped the magnet that I was using to retreive the tap. Does anyone have any experience or idea as to how I can get access to this area without removing the front of the car which looks like major surgery?

Any BTDTs mucc appreciated.
