I've some STL files emailed to me, which I need to both open and save (in the STL format) so I can in turn resend to the 3D printers Problem I encounter when I try to save is "Certificate Trust List" CTL error It's on Gmail if that matters at all, but there is no problem with my email as received How do I fix this?? I've googled it, but the few pages that come up don't speak clearly about how to fix this? frick'n MS strikes again, errr, grrr  Image Unavailable, Please Login
best explanation I have found so far http://www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?t=904841 ...so maybe because I don't have compatible program on my computer for opening a STL file?? still, I should be able to save a file from email to a file folder on my computer, surely??
Well, if anyone runs into this same issue, here is the bandaid fix I was able to use I got the STL files emailed to me in 'zipped' format, and instead of opening or importing the STL file, the zip file will save as normal to a folder For alternate emailing out, the zip file can then be attached and sent ...not the ideal, but it worked!
