    With all due respect, but if you don't know which code/tone/shade of yellow this or your car is, how do you know they're same ?

    Original "yellowish" color of #0197 EL was: Lechleroid Avorio Antico 1009.
    Nitrocellulose paint used on Vignale bodied Ferraris of 1951-1954.
    Manufacturer/Distributor back then was Chr. Lechler & Figlio, successors of Dott. Manoukian, Bruschi & C. in Ponte Chiasso (Como), Italy.

    If you cannot find the correct paint but want your car to be the same colour as 0197 you could take this option. The colour is probably by Dulux and, from what I remember from when I took the picture, had probably been applied using a brush. Someone, at some point, clearly thought it was a close enough match! Perhaps they wanted the car to be more...

    ...bumblebee-ish?

    I am certainly not offended by the mention of a Volvo. I was at an event many years ago and I overheard someone saying that they thought 340 America 0174A was a P1800!
