I have decided to order a new F12 for delivery next March and would like your feedback. The spec so far will be: Grigio Titanio Nero Interior with Grigio Chiaro contrasting stitching (STC2) Matt Grigio Corsa Wheels Giallo Brake Calipers Scuderia Shields on Fenders Dark Painted Rear View Mirrors Daytona Seats Grigio Chiaro Cavallinos on Headrests Black Alcantara Daytona Inserts Black Alcantara Lower Dash Black Alcantara Door Inner Trim Carbon Fibre Driving Zone Carbon Fibre Dashboard Inserts Carbon Fibre Cup Holder Full Electric Seats Front & Rear Cameras Yellow Rev Counter Hifi Premium I felt that as i'm going with Black Interior the Alcantara Lower Dash, Door pockets and Daytona Inserts would soften it a bit and offer some contrast to all the black leather? I am also considering Charcoal instead of Black Alcantara. What do you guys think? Anyone who has the alcantara how does it wear? Would you have alcantara again or stick to leather next time? I have gone with Grigio Titanio as i think the lighter grey shows the body well and contrasts well with the dark wheels and dark trim around the car. I also like Ferro but not at £7104 pounds! I'll post some pics of an almost identical car to what i'm ordering that doesn't have the alcantara dash and doors, less carbon and dark grey stitching instead of light grey. Thanks in advance for your input.

I have the alcantara in two F cars and it's excellent. Offers more grip in the seats than leather. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
the alcantara in my car in the middle between the seats gets dirty quickly - mostly from coins and dog paws - more difficult to keep clean than the leather
The plan at the moment is to do either Black or Charcoal Alcantara in up to 3 places 1. Daytona Stripes. 2. Lower Dash 3. Door Pockets
Also please, anyone with Grigio Titanio or Grigio Ferro F12s please let me know your opinions and interior choices.
Sounds like a great plan. From your different posts, it looks like you're debating between the door inner trim or the door pockets in Alcantara. Personally, I would do the inner trim...then, one potential add to consider would be the metal interior door insert...it creates a nice divider (and more of that contrast you're looking for) between the alcantara inner door trim and the leather door trim. It's a bit pricey and unnecessary, but looks really nice IMO. If you haven't already, don't forget to consider the suspension lifter. PS...I have a Titanio F12 on order, but not in hand.
Love the spec....the calipers are a hard sell for me, since I feel like it should be the scuderia shields that should pop out like the sun. MR. JWW has a 10k mile review on YouTube of his car. Said he loves the alcantara, but would only do again if darker color the second time around (his interior is cream). Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
It might be worth keeping an eye on this tread as he has ordered a similar car. http://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/ff-gtc4lusso-f12/532041-my-2017-f12b.html
I prefer the F12 without the shields. It s really a pure profil design and the shields attract the view too much !
I have an F12 in Titanio with Nero/Bordeaux interior, white stitching, Daytona seats with Bordeaux inserts, some alcantera on the doors only (pic thread below). I think Titanio is probably the finest color for the F12...in the sun it shines brilliantly, shows the lines of the car beautifully, and looks very classy. In hindsight I think I would have done the Daytona inserts in alcantera to soften the look. I think Nero seats with charcoal alcantera inserts would be gorgeous. Your spec is fantastic! http://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/ff-gtc4lusso-f12/497971-f12-here.html
Justin, Here is my build spec discussion thread. As mentioned in my pm for the interior, the exterior is CF everything on Grigio Titanio. I went with silver alloy calipers, diamond cut wheels. http://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/ff-gtc4lusso-f12/516011-my-2016-f12-build.html
Justin, I think your spec sounds great! Grigio titanio suits the F12 very well, and the yellow accents pair beautifully with the grigio and black. Personally, I don't care for full alcantara seats (shows sweat stains too easily), but alcantara accents provide an elegant textural contrast on the seats and low-wear areas as you've done. My car has full alcantara floors and trunk, which I really like. My Grigio Ferro F12. It was done by Ian Coburn via the Tailor Made program but it should give you an idea of another Grigio over black, albeit with red and black accents rather than yellow and grigio. More pics at http://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/ff-gtc4lusso-f12/475461-tailor-made-f12-grigio-ferro.html . Good luck! You'll have one of the last F12's, I would think. BTW, I second the vote for the suspension lifter. Very useful. Like Christian said, the exterior CF looks fantastic against Grigio, too. I also love the sports seats, and would consider them if they would fit you and you like them, too. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
GT is a lovely colour and great value for money. GF far more "interesting" but big money. The GT car at top of the thread is £235k at Maranello - 7000 miles, save yourself £60k !
Went for Grigio Silverstone (w cuoio interior) so not exactly the same... Avoiding too much yellow, I went for shields but w GS calipers and carbon centers in the wheels. Also, second the suggestion to spec the lifter. Good luck! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
in the UK, I think the lifter is a waste. Never in over two years with my F12 did I wish I had it. In the US, possibly much more a necessity. Personally, I second staying away from the yellow callipers, alloy or black and leave the badge to shine. Never understood why anyone wants to draw attention to such an element and drag the eye away from the fabulous lines.
My reasoning for going down the alcantara route is that in general i dont like black interiors and the alcantara will break it up a bit. But against Grigio Titanio i think colours like Cuoio, Sabbia, Crema etc are too light. I quite like the darker brown colour, especially the one in this video in Alcantara, looks classy to me. I think this car is Titanio too. Do you guys agree? Note that it has dark wheels but they are not matt, or diamond cut, possibly aftermarket painted but they look good IMO. Actually they look like diamond cut paint colour but not diamond cut, if you see what i mean! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QespFGz05ok
I still remeber the first time i saw an F355 on the Kings Road in London many years ago in Titanio and said to myself 'one day that's what colour i'll get'....pure class in a Ferrari
Thanks. Don't think i need the lifter. London users like Tim (Traveller) don't seem to need it. I have an FF now and had Maserati GTs too, and never a problen. I also spoke to two London dealers and they say its not needed unless you have a steep access to a carpark.
