I have been using Mozilla for about one year. Starting 4/17/05, it stopped automatically saving the e-mails that I send. I have opened Mail and Newsgroups Preferences and clicked that I want Mozilla to automatically save my e-mails to the Send folder, then click OK. But, it doesn't do it. I have removed Mozilla, using WinXP's Control Panel and reinstalled it. I have installed several new versions of Mozilla. Still no saving of my sent e-mails.

NE1 have any idea of what the heck I'm doing wrong?

    Damn this is frustrating!

Are you using the newest version of Thunderbird. If not, you might just update and see if the issue is resolved.

    good luck

Suggestion: uncheck, apply, close out, come back in, recheck, apply and close out. See if that works. Test by sending mail to yourself.

    Also, updates?

I can't really uncheck it. It never saves it. Wierdest thing - my wife has a different profile and hers works just fine. I did try unchecking and hitting, "OK", closing it, reopening it and checking it, but, alas, it did not work (again)!

So, if I want to make up a new profile (which may well work), how do I import the e-mails from my old (that is, current) profile?
