i cannot seem to find the answer to this any other way.... can blackberry connect software be loaded onto the nokia e7 in order to receive office email on the blackberry system??
Jeez, you're right, not a lot of info out there. I found this though, which doesn't bode well: http://zomgitscj.com/2010/09/17/highlights-from-the-nokia-e7-product-manager-qa-session/ But then, in my opinion, this contradicts it: http://us.blackberry.com/ataglance/connect/#tab_tab_overview Is there someone at your workplace that manages your Blackberries?
I am using the Nokia N8 on the exchange server for my office and it works fine with the Mail For Exchange app...syncs contacts, calendar, tasks, and of course email, instantly. A lot easier to set up too, just need domain, server, NT username & password and you're good.
the blackberry connect software works fine on my nokia e90, but it just died. i hate the blackberry itself and much prefer to have a nokia - but the office IT dept will not allow anything but blackberry software for mobile email..... hence the questions. the sites i found say that it will work with the new symbian OS and that is what is running on the nokia e7, so i think its likely that it works. but without confirmation the office wont get it for me. i have tried speaking to nokia directly and i get no answer. as an aside, that is really amazing - they cannot come up with an answer about their own products....
