I just got offered a 2013 build. Could you guys please give me your favorite picks on the option list. Is there must have options that you would recommend. Has anyone order the two tone interior? What would your favorite wheel be? I am going with Nero exterior. I will sit with the salesman and the Ferrari configuror software on Tuesday. I hope I don't miss my California as I have loved the car.

There are several threads regarding this. However, since this is part of the fun, I will gladly give my .02! I went from a Cali to a 458 too. It is a great move you will not miss your Cali as the 458 is in a class of its own.
About the options, the following are must haves IMO:
    Racing seats
    Back up camera
    Cruise control
    CF LED steering wheel

The following I got and are very nice to have:
    Blue tooth
    I pod connection
    Sat nav
Contrast stitching (which includes stitched cavallinos in the headrests if you choose the racing seats)
The Italian flag on the rear deck
Upgraded stereo (there are polarizing opinions about this here, but I'm glad I got it as I listen to a lot of music while I'm driving)
    Full leather rear shelf
    Leather central tunnel
    Alcantara lower dash
Other than standard headliner (leather or alcantara)
    Shields

I got the Grigio ferro wheels, which I really like a lot. I don't particularly care for the standard wheel, so there are a few other choices.
Two tone interior looks fantastic, if it's done right. You will have more flexibility with this with a neutral exterior color such as Nero.
CF is a personal choice. I got it on the central console (the area with the buttons R, auto, PS) and it looks great sparingly used IMO.

    Have fun!😃

I had a 2010, but will soon order a 2013, so I will take what I learned from the 10, which I did not order, and change the options.

I will have a darker interior - not beige as in the in the 10, because no matter how much you clean it, it seems impossible to keep it looking great. Blue jeans that are not totally faded will try to make the seats the same color.

Probably a black/white tach because in certain light the yellow one, at least for me, did not show well at a glance,

Michelin tires because my 10 stuck like glue.

Rear camera - but not the parking sensors, which irritated me much more than helped.

    Bright silver optional wheels.

    Painted calipers

    Shields

Cruise control - because if you ever take it on a reasonably, or greater long distance drive you will wish you had it.

Best radio - though I usually listened to the car.

Full electric seats, but that will depend on the style you order.

I never needed the front lifts.

Optional headliner because I did not like the stock material.

    Navigation

This is, at least some of what I will do based on my past experience.

Good luck and enjoy! You will love it!

    IMO: Must have

20 inch forged wheels of any finish
CF driving zone with LED wheel
    Sat radio and Nav
    Ipod
    Power seats (standard or Daytona)
    Rear parking sensors
Painted calipers (standard is a not bad looking matte black)
    Shields

If you go for the CF racing seats, I suggest getting the entire racing package. It will save you about 2 grand out of buying it separately

    Very nice to have

    Back up camera
    Cruise control
Rear CF bumper (challenge grill look)
Home link (gets rid of garage remotes)
Front parking sensors (for times when it's tough to park in small garage spaces)
Internal and external mirror light adjustment (the car is so low that headlights behind you from a giant SUV will shine in your eyes at stoplights)
Front lift (if you have to negotiate an unusual curb or driveway)
Full electric seats (if you want the most in comfort)
    CF dash panel and console
Painted lower sill (depends on if you like the look or not)
Heat insulating windscreen (depends on your climate situation)
Headliner in leather (standard is a kind of silver looking simple thing)
    Color contrasting stitching
Stitched Cavallino's on the headrests (standard is a very nice looking 3D press into the leather)
    Colored stripes in Daytona inserts
Rear shelf in leather (the standard has the carpet going up half way behind the seats)

One trick to save money is to order a complete black interior as it's the least expensive way to get the interior done. Others have different additional zones that could cost an additional 3 to 5 grand. So, if you like all black, you will save some money.

If you end up spending 30 to 40 grand on options, don't think you're unusual. This is a typical number even though you could buy a complete brand new fully loaded Camry for the same amount.

As to the two tone interior, yes, several have ordered it. It's a matter of taste but it will really make the car look unusual and different from the norm. Some love it, some don't.

Definitely the racing seats and the CF racing package. If you're getting nero exterior, then this black/red looks awesome on the inside.

Every thing you need performance wise and for driving pleasure is already standard. So if taking a minimalistic approach and trying to save serious money, you could just add the shields and rear parking sensor and have a great car. But if looking to spend money, the sky is the limit.

Totally agree. Do what you want. I added a bunch of options, but no shields or parking sensors, cause I like a really clean looking car. Do what you want.

Also, "the must haves" are somewhat regional, so talk to your dealer.

4RE Bob what color combination and which wheels did you choose?

I think the 5 spoke wheels and the racing seats are the two 'must have' options. Though the shields are something most buyers look for especially later during resale...

Really like this interior look as well. Think it also looks great with rosso corsa exterior.

My list would be very similar to Bob's. Mainly I'd move some options to "must" for the reasons stated.

    IMO Must haves:

20 inch forged wheels of any finish
CF driving zone with LED wheel
    Sat radio and Nav
    Ipod
Power seats (Daytona - and I'd get the ones that have memory positions)
    Front parking sensors
Painted calipers (standard is a not bad looking matte black)
    Shields
Back up camera (parallel park just ONCE, and you'll know why this is something you should have)
Cruise control (drive a long distance and you'll wish you had it)
Home link (gets rid of garage remotes)
Electrochromatic mirrors (at least the interior one - as Bob mentions, when a truck or SUV comes up behind you, which is often in the US, you will wish you had the autodimming)

If you are spec'ing a spider, I'd add heated seats to the list.

    Very nice to have:

Rear CF bumper (challenge grill look)

One thing not discussed is colors (besides choosing black interior to save money, which I agree with). Go with some shade of red or grey/silver, or black or white, or TdF blue and avoid the triple layer paint (which looks really good, but costs a fortune and I suspect would be difficult to touchup or fix if you get a rock chip). The colors are in my guesstimated order of re-saleability. If you went with a black interior, it might not work so well with a blue exterior, but would be ok for the other colors. Of course, color choice is highly personal, and unless re-sale considerations are important to you, you should choose what you want regardless what others say.

Nero Daytona. Silver sport rims and silver calipers. Sabbia interior with black dash and black carpeting, black stitching, black piping and black cavallino on the headrest. My titanium 360 had dark blue racing seats but I didn't think they would look good in sabbia and the dealer told me the new ones were not as comfortable as my old ones, which is contrary to many posts on this site. There were none for me to try so I don't really know.

I know I'm in the minority with my position on shields. I may suffer the consequences at trade in, but to me that is better than suffering the consequences every time I walk in the garage.

I am surprised by how much I enjoy the CF Seats in Large and the CF steering wheel that I was talked into from other owners here! Also the seats are very supportive and comfortable. My smaller wife also likes them.

I guess you are getting a coupe as you didn't say spider. If you are getting a spider another option to consider is the CF "B post " trim which Is very nice and obvious by its location.
