I am in search of small annoyingly difficult to locate parts for my 1974 US 246 GTS Dino. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    1. Rubber rings/grommets around bumper posts (there are 2 rods connecting each bumper to the body of the car - each one is supposed to have a rubber ring on the "body" side both in the front and in the back)

    2. Replacement suction cups with little screws for the sunvisors (it's a GTS)

    Thanks in advance
    Eugene

    Hi Eugene,
Fellow Dino owner, simonc, started 'The Bumper Grommets Thread' on 12-21-2010, at 07.01 a.m., which reached three pages of discussion with lotsa pictures. All known sources were addressed; prices ranged from $20 each to $79 each!
An option that was presented was to buy generic rubber grommets with 1-1/16 inch I.D. and section/slice them in half, then place one, cut side towards body, over each of the receiver tubes.
At fifty cents each, the hand-crafted option sounds pretty good! Let us know what you think.
    Cheers,
    Coop

(NOTE: I still don't know, after all these years, how to attach any threads or posts...sorry. Maybe someone can search for the thread I referred to and post it for us. Thanks to 'someone,' in advance!)

Thank you - I found the thread. Not sure how I missed it in my original search. The 50 cent solution is right up my alley!
