Would like some objective advice from the community on pricing my 308 for sale. It's an all original 77 GTB. Mechanically very strong 9/10, interior black, all original (original plastic protective covering on the door pockets!), slight wear on the driver left bolster. Body/ Paint 7/10. The paint is generally good overall, but there is slight crazing on the front of the car, more prominently on the left front fender. One or two very small dents, that are barely noticeable, one below the waterline just behind the left door and one on the lower right under panel in front of the right hand wheel. Both easily correctable. The car comes with original 14" wheels, and brand new set of Superformance 16" still in their original boxes. A Superformance sport exhaust is installed with the original "turbo muffler" also included. The only mod was to have the front bumper modified to euro spec look, and the bumper lights are also euro design/color. Have original books and docs, cover and two sets of keys, and records going back about 30 years. Also have many spares (rear light sets, rear bumper etc). It is a lovely running car and will be shipped with a new service/belts (or price negotiated if buyer prefers to have their own service done accordingly). Car has been in my ownership for 6 years, and am selling as I am moving out of the country. Car is located in Scottsdale, AZ. Car has been serviced by Andy Falbo of FMS Motorsports, Fountain Hills AZ since I acquired her. Thanks in advance for all comments and advice.

Well, having had a good chat today with several people, and appreciating all the comments above, I am going to price it at $60K. There is absolutely no story to the car. I am happy to have any inspection done here locally (at buyers cost). I am due to leave the country (moving back to Asia) at the end of the month so it will be with a new home by that time. Feel free to contact me with any questions. Andrew

60K $? Seems very low to me.

If I were you I'd put it on BaT. it will probably fetch more.
You can also check past results of 308 auctions to see the prices.

Thanks Harry. It is a low price, but i'd rather not have to complicate my move, and at the same time give someone something of value. My main concern is having her at a new home by months end. I do appreciate your comments however.

$60K is way way too low, in fact it's likely to go to the wrong type of buyer at that price. When I was shopping around, only the roughest "project" cars fell into that range and yours is way nicer than that! And 37,000 miles on a 77 GTB is going to be very desirable for multiple reasons -- GTB, carb, low miles, records -- all those factors add up.

The devil in me says I should give you $60K immediately (and risk divorce -- know a good lawyer?) but you really really should price higher. Even at $85K it would be a good deal for someone, and I think with proper auction setting over $100K is realistic.

Hagerty values your car at $184K in #1/Concours condition, $139K in #2/Excellent condition, and $81K in #3/Good condition. From what you have described, you're probably somewhere between #3 and #2.

If I was you I'd try an auction with maybe $80K reserve and if it fails to sell, I am sure you would have interested parties here on the forum. This would be a very compelling buy for many of us.

I need to see if I would have issues relative to CA registration. If no issues, I think you may have a buyer!

Hi Martin. I am not certain on that. Obviously a lot of classic Ferraris are registered in CA, so my guess is there is some provision. Let me know.

Guys, before anyone makes an offer, i meant to amend the belts /service issue. Belts are three years old, recent oil filter service. I think for the price it will have to come as is. Apologies, but had to make a judgement call on how much I was "giving away" on this :) Btw, it does come with a complete original tool kit, plus original jack. The car is missing nothing and will drive beautifully the first crank of the key.

Hello fine people of FChat - this needs to be put in a classified ad in the proper section. I'm locking this thread since it's turned into a for sale ad.
