fellow spring worshippers.. i think tommorow is the day to get the A car out of the garage and stretch her legs BUT... i'd like to find a mildly used, somewhat dry and sand free secondary road or route in northeastern mass.,southern n.h. or maine to go on. i know this is asking a lot,but this is the group that i know will help out if it can... anybody else venturing out on this mini-spring break?
If your going to the Cape, 3A isn't a bad route if your going at the right time. Obviously this isn't a secret at all, but I like driving it early on Sunday mornings. Obviously some parts are better than others, namely south of Hingham. One time I went in a friend's Diablo and it was enjoyable. We hit 130 at times on a somewhat curvy road. It's a lot of fun, but it can also be slow at times. At worst it's a scenic route to the Cape. Good luck to you if you try it.
