After almost 10 years of my 1980 308gtsi sitting without an engine I finally got around to working on the car again. My question is about these couple of wires I have no idea where they go or went. When I ulled motor i stupidly didnt take any photos. They are all right from bulkhead next to starter wires. I cannot find my manuals right now but am still looking. Any help would be appreciated and thank you
One is a 10 gauge brown wire
The other photo is the black/red and green connector and brown light gauge wire
And the other photo in question is the 3 wires red w/black, brown and red wires

The brown wire with the rubber boot is your oil temp at the bottom of the gearbox. The red and green combo is the speed input plug, runs along the right frame rail inboard side.

The three wires in the last pic are for your fuel gauge wiring.

Take a better picture of the one in shrink tube. Farther away and clear. Might be a good idea to remove the shrink tube to see the type of connector.

Thank you so much. I’m going to take a better photo of the brown wire tomorrow. This week I’m planning on reinstalling the engine.

Here is a photo with the shrink tube removed. I’m kind of thinking it’s for fuel pump

Most likely. Check for key power and then pull the fuse, that will tell you for sure.
