I cleaned the contacts and put that 22A stuff on it, now both of my check engines lights stay on ALWAYS.

The codes for both sides are identical and they occur in the exact same order.

    1211 O2 sensor replace I figure

1114 this one is new for me

1121 because car is not running I assume

1111 Air flow meter, another new one for me

When I originally pulled out of the garage after cleaning all the wires I had no check engine lights, but 1/2 mile alter they were going on/off/on/off until the eventually stayed ON.

Could the problem be the wires were unhooked and then rehooked and the computer sensed this and is just saying "hey dipsh*t, you should have reset me by turning off the battery because unhooking all those wires makes me nuts".

I am wondering if my best course of action is replace the O2 sensors and unhook the battery to ge me back to square one?

AND why are those computer panel screws so damn hard to get to catch? Of the six at LEAST one is always popped up and not hooked.

Anyone know the Bosch part number for the O2 sensor, or do I just take it out and look on the part?

Joe, you may have to reset the ECU's.

Do this: Disconnect the battery for 15 seconds then reconnect it. Start your car with ALL accessories turned off. Let it idle for 10 minutes without touching anything or turning anything on. That should do it. It will reset your ECU's

Also, anytime you FUUk with the wiring, you should always unplug the battery.
