Hi everyone, I've made a few posts on her since getting my 328 GTS on 17-July and have had some great feedback and very useful info too. Many people asked for pics so here are the first ones I took just after her first shampoo, conditioner and polish! Hope you like her... her name is Bella. Hi Ace pilot, Thanks for your reply I'll make sure I take some pics of the engine compartment next time I take her out. All the best, Ochosi
Hi BigTex, Thanks for your reply. That sounds like a sensible idea - sorry to be dumb but I guess this is to protect from stone chips? What type of film do you suggest... just ordinary kitchen cling film or is there someting special to use? Any info would be very useful. Best wishes, Ochosi
I think he's referring to something like the 3m clear bras like these: http://www.nextlevelride.com/store/autos-trucks-vans/?cat=2 Very nice car....
Hi ChunkyMonkey, Thanks for your reply and thanks also for this webiste address and putting me straight on what the "film" actually is - I'm going to try and track down a supplier here in the UK. I see I have so much to learn about owning a piece of automotive history but everyone on here is so nice and so helpful - its a great community! Best regards,
Hi Mustard, Thanks for the praise - I still can't get over the fact that she's mine! And she really will be pleased she looks younger than she actually is - it's her birthday next month, first registered 28 Sepetmber 1988! Best regards, Ochosi PS Do you have pics of your 328?
Places like Griot's Garage have it also. Cut to fit........it's a thicker barrier 'padding" against the gravel stones, as if you ping one, it's very expensive and so prone to occur all the original "spares" have been consumed... Hope this helps.. Alan
I went with this: http://www.lamin-x.com/gloss-thick-a/142.htm As I recall, I bought the 20 mil. for my 328 lamps. Does not look bad. I think I would not go thinner than 20 mil. You want as much protection as possible, not just something that will hold the smashed bits in one place! PS. nice motor!
