OK! Here is what I am doing. I decided not to have four karts and will sell my 2002 Invader sprint kart with the Yamaha KT100 engine. I have the clutch off it now because I am replacing it with a new one. You will need to buy a 12V starter. I can get you a used one for about $150.

The engine has about three hours on a fresh top-end rebuild. It will come with a 'can' exhaust and the tuned pipe that is one it now (Worth about $250). Other items included are:

    *Clutch removal tools $50.00
    *Two sprokets $50.00
*Extra clutch housing (Sprocket side) $50.00
*probably a few other parts I forgot about! $100.00

This is a VERY fun kart that turns about 60MPH+ with the pipe (55 with the can). The body is in great shape, the seat is perfect and the steering wheel has one tear.

    Price: $2000.00 Firm

Drop me an email if interested. This kart will go pretty quick!

Peters, I've been toying with getting back into KARTing. I'd previously raced 80cc shifters and some 125cc shifters back in Dallas. That was ten years ago. Question to you is for someone like me who's been toying with getting back into it, where and with what series should one look at? The KART racing fraternity has splintered in that ten years as has open wheeled racing here in the states. I'm not sure where to start. What class to run.

Any help would be appreciated. And given that, I might be interested in your KART. :)

Run whatever class floats your boat! The 100cc class is fun with people of all ages. Personally, I like that class because its a bit slower and safer due to reduced speeds and more recreational racers. The 100cc is a great place to start, then work up to the faster karts.

    Peter,

That's a great cart I remember driving it. I can't seem to find enough change in the cushions.

Those 100cc's were great fun at atwater!!!
