Who is going to pay $100k for it is the question I'm asking myself?

    NSX is a classic though...

Only someone who does not care about paying over sticker.
If they get the sticker price which is around 85k I would be surprised.
I am sure that car qualifies for the special lease also of $1500.00 down and $799/Month.

Well...lets see.... They made the car for 15 years....never sold more then 300 or so per year....Acura would of wanted to sell many more, but no one wanted it...It didn't become a great car until the last few years....and they stuck with the 6 cyl way too long. Should of switched to an 8 early on and priced it $10,000 cheaper then a 911. And the exhaust could of been more sports car like. Having said that, in the long run I would expect them to hold a decent value because of cheap (really cheap) maintenance and very few ever made. I would expect this car not to sell more then invoice.
On a side note....I had the pleasure to have one on the track. Great car. The year was 1997, and I was driving a 97 911 C2S, and my friend had a 1995 NSX. It didn't compare to the 911, but was fun on the track. Also, its very inexpensive to maintain. If a Ferrari had maintenance of an NSX all 308/328/Mondials/348/355 would be $150,000.00 cars.

Its quite obvious you dont know much about the NSX. Im not being ****** but in 1991/1992 Acura made over 3000 NSX and sold the majority for over sticker price. The original owner of my 1992 paid $30k over for mine. Still have the original invoice. At the time, there was nothing like it. A car that had the look of a Ferrari and half the price. An 1991 NSX would destroy a 348 in every single performance catagory. Long in the tooth? Yes but still an unreal car. I have a 92 with 42k and have destroyed many a F and P cars. Yes, mine is supercharged but it still sips gas and requires only $25 oil changes and crazy low insurance. By the way a 97 NSX with its 3.2 and its 6 speed would be extremly competitive with a 1997 C2S.

Ive got #199 sitting outside my office on the showroom. I toyed around with the idea of getting the last one thru my connections but have decided to go another route. Im not selling my 92 and have the car bug again. I dont mind having 1 car payment at all times and mine will be paid off in three months. Any suggestions?

Lots of suggestions...but depends what your budget is. Are you ready to step up to F-car ownership?

I think so.... I thinking 355 6 speed. 348 is more resonable for me. Ill finance thru E-Loan for 72 at 6.5% with 0 money down. I want to be under $1000 a month. Im debating a 993, Supra Turbo, Skyline or my probable choice; another NSX. I can buy 02/03 lease returns for thousands behind wholesale. Im not replacing, just adding. Any thoughts?

First of all, I don't think your ******. I agree to disagree on any subject. And for the record, I am a fan (big fan) of the NSX. When they arrived here it was a Ferrari with Honda maintenance. What happened in 1992 with a guy paying $30K over sticker was a life time ago and wasn't the norm. He wanted to be the 1st on his block. Acura only sold 8,854 since 1991. They only sold that many (or little) because there was no demand after the first two or three years. Look at how many were sold! Acura wanted the car to be a larger sucess then this. Porsche sold more 911's in 2004 then the whole run of NSX's! That segment is very competitive and to offer a car for $90,000.00 that has 290 HP, is, quite honestly, Pathetic. Honda should of, and could of done more. The shape is still gorgous whether its a 1991 or a 2006. My point was that I don't care whether its the last year and the last one made. I don't think that the demand is there. I do think that the last one made may hold a few more dollars in resale then one that was not the last one made. My two freinds that have NSX's will probably never sell them. They are the original owners, and the car costs them nothing to own. I think the only item that went was the front speakers! Pretty incredible. Can't get that reliablity on any Porsche or Ferrari or probably anything else.
