I believe a Ferrari timing belt will go the 50K+ it says in the manuals under the following conditions: Driven at least 8K miles/year. Tensioner bearings don't go bad Oil doesn't leak on belts Water pump doesn't sieze I figure maybe 1 in 100 3X8's ever met these conditions. Dave
