Didn't see anything here relative to this simple Ipod connection. Yeah, I know I should be listening to the 40 valve symphony, but I never go anywhere without my Ipod.

Becker auxillary input plug no:1319.116-276 wires into the rear of the head unit where the blue plug is. (sorry for bad pic). Takes the place of the changer which I don't have anyway. Folks way smarter than me have found ways to let you run both. Activate Aux function on headunit and Ipod now runs through the car stereo system.

Sorry if this has been posted before.

    I have the CD changer.

Can you run both with this adapter?

Eric, I'm pretty sure there's a thread on Renntech about a guy who did this.

I have been considering doing the same. I have the changer but don't use it anymore.

There must be a way to supply power to the ipod as well, no? I started using an ipod shuffle, and since the USB setup is a standard, I may make a custom cradle that sits in that little space.

Perhaps hardwiring an aftermarket cigarette charger would work?

With the plug from becker alone you can only run an aux device or the cd changer not both. If you have a compatible radio the adapter is I think $18 from becker.

There may be other companies out there that will allow you to use both but im not aware of any.

I find RF transmitters bulky - plus they sound even worse than the tape-deck setup i'm using now.

Actually, the smarter setup is probably to setup a music jukebox deal like phatnoise. too lazy.
