Yes, Lucas IS a quick draw specialist :)

I also believe Jeff has one at Segal motor cars...unless hes sold it by now, a 95 T, black.

Yes, thats a good call. Jeff loves his NSX's. He always seems to have one or two.

I'll put the word out. Segal is right around the corner from me -- I can go inspect it in person if you need. Any specific year/model your buyer looking for? ie Targa vs Coupe, 2002+ non-popup headlights, 3.2l engine, etc.

Ummm..., your in the high end sports car market, but might I respectfully suggest that at those price points he aint gonna find much. I only saw one NSX advertised for less than 45k, and it was a very high milage 91 with a small accident in its history. Maybe, in the midlle of the winter and at the very high end of his range, he might be able to find a high milage 91 without an accident history,...but I seriously doubt it....Good luck!

On the other hand, I bought both of my NSX's from Segals and have nothing but good things to say about Jeff and his cars.

100%. James, at that price it will be hard bro. Very hard. Those things still bring in good money. For a good one of course.

If it helps, I know of a red one and also a yellow available. But dont know of their history and how nice they are BUT can easily find out. PM me if interested.

I may see you this coming week anyways, I gotta come talk to Serg.

    Best,

    Vasco

Vasco: Is the yellow an '03 US car by any chance?

James: I checked out the 1995 black NSX-T at Segal's. Based on a quick look, exterior looks to be in very good condition with a repaint of bumper/hood for rock chips (very common on NSX), interior is in quite good condition, no significant wear on drivers side bolster. Asking $73k.

BTW, stay away from JT4NA1158NT800035. It's a 92 black that was a total write-off and apparently the structural damage was not correctly repaired. The oakville motors one is also likely to have a history as it's priced too low.

    They also had a nice '99 355 spyder.. oops.. I mean spider for $165k, and a spectacular damn-I-wish-I-had-the-money '01 360 with only 3k km's on the dial for $250k!

Hi Arshad, I think this car may be an earlier one. I will see it today since I am going by there anyways.

Also, I think I know of that structural damaged one too. Kinda sucks.

    Cheers,

    Vasco

The thing with Jeff's cars are that they are mint. When I was looking for my NSX I *almost* got a pristine 98 Black one from him. Fresh off the truck from Calgary (where it was forsale for 2 years), he was selling it for $78k. He gave me a good trade in value for my old S2000, but the car still didnt make sense next to the 02 that I ended up buying.

I think that black 95 was there a year ago when I looked, as was a Yellow 01 ($109k).

Id buy any car from Jeffery in a split second knowing how clean they are, if the premium wasnt unreasonable.

Hey James, whatever happened to that Y/Y 03 NSX that you guys were selling on consignment almost a year ago?

For a 95, even in prisitine condition, I would have to agree with you...it's never going to sell for that price...not in todays market, at least. The 98 for 78k sounds much more in line with reality, and a MUCH better bargain as well.

Although Ive never owned one personally, a 97 and above NSX is the much better option when compared to the earlier models (91 to 96). Not only do they have a slightly larger engine and associated increase in HP (from 270 to 290), they have the 6 speed transmission which can make a HUGE difference in the NSX's performance compared to the pre 97 5-speeds. I loved my 91 and 95 NSX's, but if I was in the market for one today, it would have to be a 97 minimum.
