    I haven't heard of a Ferrari with hubcaps nor would I believe they were sold at Sears. Those aren’t real…are they? :D

    308GT4 had hubcaps, but those aren't them.

    I think the reference to Ferrari is that, by a long stretch of the imagination, they look similar to a Dino wheel.

    That is true, but I haven't really thought of them as true "hubcaps" because they don't cover the entire wheel.

    If it covers the entire wheel it would be a "wheel cover", if it covers the hub it would be a "hub cap".
