I have been lurking in the shadows of Fchat for several years now and recently pulled the trigger and bought this car. I was able to buy it for less than they listed it on Ebay for but expect to spend $12-$15K on repairs to make it reliable. Even with that expense I should have a car that is quite affordable for a 1997 Spyder. Granted it has accident history but has been driven 15,000 miles since the accident and everything seems pretty straight. So far I put about 500 miles on it and everything was going good. It just developed a noise in the clutch/transmission which has me a little concerned. I see a tow ride for the Ferrari to Central Florida Ferrari in the very near future. Anyway, it was interesting stumbling on this post and realizing it was the car I bought. Wish I saw the warning before I bought it but live and learn. I will keep you all posted on my experience with the car that I should have "run like Carl Lewis from."

FYI....maybe Goth does that at his hair salon.......you could get his 348 brotherhood special rate..
