Does anyone have experience with upgrading the standard suspension ecu to the HGTC version? Which cars (or from which build number) will it fit, all or some? If anyone has done this upgrade what is the difference and is it worth doing? My springs and rollbar have already been upgraded, to very good effect.

In searching for information on this, a few things came up:

    1) It was, of course, an essential part of handling improvements for the HGTC

    2) The steering ecu, but not the suspension ecu is part of the Fiorano Handling Package, and it appears the suspension ecu may not fit at least some cars due to "harness incompatability":

However, in looking at the part numbers for the wiring harnesses, I can see no difference in any year or model 575M.

I would like to stiffen up my shock control and make the conversion if possible and worthwhile. My car is a 2002.

    Thanks very much.

So no one has successfully upgraded a non-HGTC with the suspension computer? I guess I am the guinea pig.

Doesn't the HGTC package also contain the CCF brakes?
Will you be doing these also?

Not at this point. I am just focused on tightening up the handling and feel. I don't think the brake upgrade is economically justifyable.
