My first post here. Thought I'd say hi. I have a 86' 328 GTS. The seats are pretty worn now and I'd like to have them re-died or tanned (not sure what they actually do). Is there anyone recommended in the Chicagoland area? Anyone here have it done and what should I look out for?

    Thanks,

    Mike

    Mike,

Welcome. I am sure one of the many 3x8 owners who post in the Chicago section can help you out and will post soon. I never had to address this issue but my father did on another car. It was at some place in Fox Lake and we were really pleased with the results. Depending on where you are located, if you need info on this place I will look it up. Once again welcome to the Chitown part of Fchat.

Hello there! And Welcome to the Board. There is a regional Chain called "Riggs Brothers Auto. Interiors". There are a couple here in the Western 'Burbs. But,the one on St.Charles Rd.,about a mile WEST of IL.RT.83,in Villa Park,IL. is the Closest to me. Their Phone # is:630-834-1717

They do Auto Interiors. Custom Auto Interiors. Convertible Tops. Marine/Boat Covers and Upholstery needs. All sorts of stuff. Give them a call. They should be able to help you out.

Also, there is a place out in Texas called "Re-Originals". www.reoriginals.com Check out their Website. They have New,Replacement Interiors for all Ferrari. Even some NOS.(New,Old Stock) And,if you call them, they will gladly send you their Literature regarding Ferrari interior pieces that they have.

If you would rather, check out Riggs Brothers, first and see what they can do. If they need to Replace the seat covers, maybe you can order them from Re-Originals,and have Riggs Bros. Professionally install them.

Hopes this helps, but, this should solve your problem....:)
