Hi, I'm new to the forum, and I decided to jump in to learn more about buying/owning a Ferrari. My name is Christophe, 35 , I live in San Francisco but grew up in Europe. I caught the Ferrari virus very early on thanks to two uncles who were big Ferrari fans (my father had a Toyota Corolla and never gave a crap about cars!). I grew up to the sound of V12's from their 275 GTB/4, 365 GTB/4, 365 GTC (all bought late 70s when they weren't worth much...), and 400i. Today they still have the 275 and the 400i. But I think it is now time for me to make the big step, and get my own. The Testarossa holds the top of my list, but I have a son and I have a hard time accepting the fact that both my son and my wife could not go on trips with me, so I'm also looking at the 456, but it just doesn't sound like an old V12... I currently own a 1985 Porsche 911 3.2 Targa, a Mercedes 500E and a C32 AMG (for my daily commutes). Now it's time to switch to "learn mode" before pulling checkbook out of my pocket!
