    Just thought I would take a minute to introduce myself. My name is Don and I live in Colchester, Essex, UK. My current sports car is a Porsche Carrera, 2001. I've had the car from new and covered 45K with no problems at all. I also run a LR4 HSE a BMW Mini as well as a Ducati 1198s and BMW 1150GS. I have been thinking about trading the Porsche for some time so a few weeks ago I took a test drive in a 08 430 Spider. Unfortunately, whist a fantastic car, it wasn't for me. I also took out the California, which I have to say, pushed all the right buttons for me. The down side is it is above my £100K budget so thats a no (for now). I am now looking at the 550/575 as a realistic purchase but have yet to drive one. I'm in no hurry and prepared to be flexible with the specification. I also post on a UK based Ferrari site which I have found most helpful.

    My brother lives in Rowhedge so I know the area quite well. I was only at Milsoms last week.

    I presume you have been into Lancasters to look at their stock. When you get around to buying a car, defo give Rob at Grimaldi a shout for servicing etc. They are based in Halstead and a lot better and cheaper than Lancasters.

    Just those two at the moment with the thought that the California may be priced within my budget over the next 12/18 months.
