Eduard, and I am from Germany. I registered here because first I thought I am a wiseass master craft and know everything about cars, then I was confused about things, then I had to google them and always ended up here with people obviously smarter than I. ;-)

I am 43 now, run a tuning company and I own some cars myself. The most important projects here in my shop are the 1989 Ferrari Testarossa and a Porsche 964 C4 Monoturbo Conversion. My intention is to resto-mod them and do a lot of things that you maybe not like, you will probably hate me, too - you will curse and insult me and say bad things, but I am a big boy and I can handle this. Nevertheless - I am happy, in a good mood and I can not wait to communicate with you guys, but more, I would love to learn about every single detail about the Testarossa.

A little more. I wanted a Testarossa and not a 512TR because for me these are (I know this is dumb) two different cars. One was labeled with Testarossa and the other one with 512TR. So I wanted a Testarossa and not a 512 (I have to say that my license plate says 512, yes, I am that dumb ...).

My intention is to make it a resto-mod. I have started the same month and year as Fioravanti, but the project had to pause because we had so much work in our shop that there was absolutely no time to work on this car(s). They finished their project and I am happy what they did, because they did it totally different than what I want to do, so there is no conflict about this.

I have a YouTube channel that is in German and I am adding the subtitles now. The 3rd Episode about the Ceramic Brake Upgrade is online and we are trying to come up with everything we do, why we did this and if these Partners are supporting us some how, we are celebrating them by giving them appreciation in these Videos.

I hope that I will find geeks like me and I hope that I will become a welcome member one day. Thank you!

Purists are most prevalent in the Ferrari community, no doubt. But I personally believe there is a place here for all Ferrari enthusiasts. It's a great community.

Welcome! I look forward to hearing more about your resto-mod build.
