HIDs are not worth a couple hundred for install. Its ALL plug and play, no cutting of wires or anything. Very simple 45 min job. Also, 700-800 is pretty outragous. I guess if cost is no object but there are alot better deals out there. All kits are pretty much the same as far as ballast, bulbs and ignitors.

As in most cases, you get what you pay for. The simpler kits are indeed just plug and play, but then you have old connectors and stuff laying around.
The Hella HID's are great, and worth the cost.
For your price of $199 though, they'd definitely be an option to consider. Any HID's are a significant improvement over the normal bulbs, as long as they use a good Kelvin temp.

Actully the price of the kit has nothing to do with being plug n play. With a plug n play kit there are no extra or old connectors. I dont really know what you mean on that.

I have alot of experience in HIDs and have owned phillips and some other brands in the past. They were also plug n play.

I price my HIDs at 199.00 for F-Chat members only. I can charge 400.00 if that makes people feel better. I import them myself and dont have any middle man. The kelvins temps are very nice and I have 5 diff options.

Hey guys, This is my first post and I just want to take some time and thank all the members for the information that I've read over the past month or so. I'm looking to get into a 355 but, I'm waiting to see where the market is going.

Anyway, I have a good amount of experience with aftermarket products, especially HID's. All kits are not the same even if they look the same. Some are built better and have valid warranties. This is opposed to some fly-by-night companies that offer a lifetime warranty but, won't be in business after a year or so.

Silver360, that's a great price on those kits. I'd like some more information on them. Can you please pm or email...thanks.

Again thanks all and if I can help anyone with any aftermarket products, please feel free to contact me.
