    All I know, we won't be getting it for a real long time. Local cable is enjoying their Dictatorship. Thank god, for tv there are other options. God bless Direct TV. Now only if their Satellite Internet wasn't so expensive.

    I'm happy with the internet that I have right now. I do miss the T1 line that the dorms had, but the speeds I'm running at from my apartment are fine for the applications I'm running.

    T1 is actually 1.5mbps. It's just got a SLA behind it. That's why it's expensive.

    I wish FIOS would come to Houston, they never will though because they aren't ILEC's here. :(

    I'm getting excellent speeds from FIOS - around 22mb/sec down and 4.5mb/sec up.

    That is sickness right there.
    I have cable and I am capped at 6mbit / 384kbps. What kind of bull**** is that!

    My downstream gets saturated the instant I decide to send someone pictures! :(
