no problem sir ill use my manners
A close friend just told me his Dad was just diagnosed with Lymphoma. He starts chemo in Townsville next week. He is 84 yrs old and my friend said he doesn't like his Dad's chances. Although he is a strong old man and has a heart of gold. Time will tell. Man...............I don't want to get old.
Surprised they would give him chemo, they do however give dosage according to age and health, like the stuff i got would kill an older person, there heart would not take it.
I was thinking the same thing, he is not a spring-chicken by any means. He has had a rough few months with MANY other medical issues. Just got them all sorted and was in good spirits again until this bad news.
nice, if you meet me in person. I'm far from "so bitter" I've got my app into AVCO South OZ,for a credit increase ie Monaco and the single Dukes.
I'm fine with my health,I started the thread when I got cancer,as a form of letting of stress and letting the people on here know what was going on. Thankyou for your thoughts Rob.
I am uncertain if we have ever tossed banter but as someone who has more than a needed experience with cancer in his family my thoughts and prayers are with you. In closing FIGHT THAT MOFO AND DO NOT QUIT BROTHER!"
Thankyou Gregg,I've been fine for over 4 years, mind you i get frights when i have a health scare. For me the cancer opened my eyes up,I retired and stopped chasing the big bucks. Now its just cars cars and the Rockford Files.
Ohhh Dear Jimbo got shot the other week....hope he is OK On a brighter note, a friend underwent Chemo and they think they have stopped it in its tracks...time will tell/fingers crossed.
