    I just received a friendly & polite email from Rob showing the best way to trim it down safely, I have cut Cf before and it is quite easy to work with, so here goes!!

    Actually, that photo in post #63 is indeed my car, and I helped Rob prototype it and gave him the final measurements I used and I think it's my installation tips that he's including with the tubes. If I recall, I had at least 1/2" free on each end. Mine is a USA 1984QV though I don't think it shouldn't make any difference what year QV.

    Thanks for your reply, I wasn't sure if there is some silly small difference like the end of the throttle body is a bit longer on a european Qv or where it fits the airbox

    I think the difference is that Mike's car is a 308 and yours is a Mondial. The injection system is laid out a tiny bit differently.

    Robert, I am interested in one too (for a Mondial QV). Can I assume that I need to trim the part to fit as well??
