I have a 2002 360 with a Capristo installed. I would like to upgrade the cats, what is the consensus on what my best option would be in terms of sound & performance?

Hyperflows are very high quality. That's what I had on my 360 and was very impressed with them. The company is very helpful with support after the sale as well. I had a tubi with the hyperflows. Never had any CEL problems. The hyperflows are a work of art.

Ferrari dealer is just installing my Fabspeed Sport Cats (with my existing Tubi), so I should be able to give you my results mid next week. btw Ferrari themselves were quite impressed with the manufacturing of the sport cats.

I have Hyper-Flows + an X-OST on my 360. Wish I had done it a lot sooner! Troy at Hyper-FLow makes product that, IMO, is seconc-to-none. Give Troy a call ...

What about test pipes? Who here prefers test pipes over high flow cats? Forgetting about the emissions. Just the pipes vs. cats.

I have my test pipes with a Maxspeed exhaust. It is loud as hell! I can't imagine it with your capristo level 3! It should be insane!!
I had a lot of resonance so Im using my stock tips with the valves. I cut the tails from my maxspeed tips and welded it on my stock tips. It look nice.

Regarding the sound clip, I do have one. I will check your profile to see if you have an email if not pm me your email.

what are the change in sound with test pipe/high flow cat? Does it just make it louder overall(like turning up the volume on the stereo) or does it only boost certain portion of the frequency spectrum(like adjusting the equalizer)?

Does anyone have any experience with Kinetix cats? Their website seems to indicate that they are more mellow sounding than Hyper -Flows, which is not necessarily what I'm after, but the price is attractive!

Free flowing cats are to produce more horse power, not so much to tune the exhaust note. Buy the cats with the fewest cells (within reason) and best construction. I think Troy at hyper flow knows his stuff.

Well I went with the Hyper Flows and I loved them for about an hour, then the engine light came on!!! Doesn't seem to be major but will require 1 more trip to the dealer next week. Ant thoughts on why the light came on?

i was told u need to install a washer so the o2 sensor sits a bit further away so less likely to trigger CEL

Joel what happened- was the CEL issue ever resolved?

How are the cats- any sound differences? If so do you like it? Any performance increase or not really noticable (I guess if there is a sound difference as in louder, it may psychologically seem like the car is making more power...)
