High quality Cobra replica thread

I plan to sell this car .... I love the car but just never drive it so if someone wants the highest quality of aluminum body shelby continuation 289 cobra this one is it. It was built by David Wagner around 2011 .. I am the second owner .. it is princess blue with red interior (original Kirkham body ) but is as perfect as possible.. pm me if interested .. .. ....

I would love to hear (see) more about your David Wagner CSX 8000 (alloy) Cobra. Cannot figure out how to PM.

TBH my interest is not to purchase as I myself have a CSX 8000 alloy roller that I am working on. My car is also based upon a Kirkham (KMP 1010) and further assembled by the Hi Tech factory in South Africa. But, I had the factory leave many items off because of their lack of originality. They also did some custom work on my behalf to overcome the production CSX 8000 deficiencies (as I see them). I have many NOS parts that I collected over 2 years while waiting for the car. Also, I left it unpainted by the factory, until later, as I replace/correct items for originality. I have met David Wagner and regard his work as the best.

While I may not be interested in purchasing your car I am active in the Cobra community and could "talk your car up" if you are still interested in selling. Alloy CSX 8000 cars are quite rare and one assembled by David even more valuable. Top of the "food chain", next to an original.

I have owned other alum body cobras including a 40th anniversary . The David Wagner car is so much better as close to original can be ..

Yes it is thanks for let me know it went live .. on Bat .... I bought the car about 23 years ago give or take and am the third owner the first owner never drove it so the second owner bought it to run through the NCRS award system I think the lowest score it got on the various awards was around 100 .. I drove it to corvettes of Carlyle a couple of time the car is ALL original paint and everything else It is still pretty much like it was when I bought it .. It has been in my Hvac and humidity controlled garge for the entire time I owned .. Last time I checked the CB still worked.. pretty excellent corvette If anyone wants a 78 pace car this is the best there is I would say..\
