I am hopelessly in love with TVR. I have driven a couple on visits to the UK, and pray everyday that Nikolai brings them over to NA. I have found this is a great place for real life shots of the cars. Some of you might have seen it, but if not, enjoy.

TVRs? They do nothing for me either ;)

Pistonheads, TVR Webring, Planet TVR, TVR regional club pages, Sleepyfish, theRatpac.com, etc., etc.

Post a request on the pistonheads forums (in the appropriate section) and you will probably get a nice response. Are you building a website or do you just like the car?

I love TVR's, a little dangerous to drive though. I remeber watching a show saying they didnt have air bags, but I dont know if thats true. Thos TVR are hot!

TVRs don't have airbags. But they have very strong tube-frame chassis, and in the event of a crash even the GRP bodywork becomes a fine powder and absorts a lot of the impact energy. This does mean that repairs are expensive.. They are not dangerous because of the lack of airbags, but because of the twitchy handling at high speed, as well as their odd handling characteristics from the uneven weight distribution and tendency to overwhelm traction quickly because of their high power to weight ratio.

The weight distribution has been vastly improved in models since the early 90's.
The steering ratio has improved vastly in the last 5 years. Also improved are the aerodynamics, and the new models do remain stable at high speeds.
The high power to weight ratio remains unchanged, thankfully, and is an essential part of the appeal, along with its interior and exterior styling (though it's not to everyone's taste) and unique British heritage.

TVR tuscans "S'" are some one of the most beautiful cars ever made but it is just a Huge dissappointment that they don't import the car from Europe. There may be a couple of these cars in america that may have been brought over (Swordfish -the movie) but other then that, it's a shame that these cars arent available....
I would buy one (if i could afford one)...

All the Swordfish movie cars were sent back. I have heard rumours that one was kept by John Travolta, but the factory is adamant that all 3 were sent back. The factory also insists that Warner Bros. sent back every car used in the movie Looney Toons.

The only Tuscan I am aware of in America is in a private collection in the mid-West. It was recently seen at a show in Cinncinnati, OH. It's the dark green ones in the pictures above.

I love these cars. There is one that has been turned into a club racer here in Canada. Only TVR I have ever seen on our soil. It's gorgeous.
