    +1 I believe this to be true, but not usre myself.

    (You may already know, but your mirror should be placed higher and more toward the bottom of the middle of the small front side window)

    The most inexpensive way is to buy my 2 year old Konis with springs that I just took off my 77 to put adjustable QA1 spring & shocks on.

    I've got those same tires - Aren't they great! After they scrub in, the corning forces are decent, and the ride is pretty nice. As for lowering it, there are right ways and wrong ways. I'd research carefully the adjustable spring perch systems approach.

    One word of experience is I had a lowered F-car, and I hated the hassle of driveways. The handling / look IMHO paled in comparison to how impractical the car became to simply take for a drive.
