    I have heard there will be a rally very similar to the Playersrun going from Washington DC to Miami in October!? Looks really sweet, well organized, and sounds like they are going to have a bunch of really nice cars come. Is anyone planning on being there??? I hope to see the kick off in DC, looks really sweet though. I believe the website is www.highrollersrun.com.

    Can not get out of work and heard that it was a "cheeper" version. I would love to do this but since it is "cheeper" you of course are not going to get the greatest crowd. I heard that modified Civics were going to be in this one. No joke.

    Not too sure about this one but is this event authorized at all? I'm all up for a little fast fun but if this is a balls out street race and attempt to evade the laws isn't that a disaster waiting to happen? My apologies if this event is approved and or it's within the confines of the law but I'd hate to see someone get killed and or be sued down to nothing over it if it isn't. In another thread we've been ragging on the hockey player who was probably just having "a little fun" and look what happened there.

    Where did you get the idea thats its a "balls out street race"?? I dont see anything like that on the site??

    Yes, how foolish of me to assume it's anything but the speed limit just like the Player's Run. :)

    The guys at Highrollersrun are a class act. There is no event on their website about this. If any event is planned similiar to that it won't be a "CHEEP" version. Those guys are well organized. Maybe you guys heard wrong.

    i sometimes participate in the lowball rollers run. The idea is to get a sub $500 car for a one day rally and if it makes it, you get to donate it to charity.

    lol...I think its take it at the pace you want, no one is going to force you to speed. Where did you hear that it would consist of civics, from what I have heard they have a very healthy dose of exotics..we will see!;)

    I would love to hear more about this event but so far I've only gotten a bunch of rumors and heard from a friend of a friend info. Any one got any sure info on this?

    Yes, it is in fact, cancelled.............due to problems with the weather in Florida.

    Guys the event was postponed due to the inclement weather in Miami. Venues said they would not have been ready for our arrival. Of course when you have an event like this people will spread things. Some good some bad. Its inevitable. I like to think that we have some decent events. Our last private party at Gucci was a great success. Ill keep everyone updated about future events.

    I was supposed to be filming this rally with the camera cage I built for my car, but haven't really been in touch about it...
