Who has the highest mileage F430 on here? Who actually drives there car?
I'm at 40,700, bought it in May with 39,000 on it. I would have put more on it but I have had a few "minor issues" needing major downtime...
there was an 05 here for sale in nj 2 years ago with 95k on the dash for 65k , wonder where the car is now....
Nice!! They do need to be sorted out some times. What went wrong with yours? I had a few things I had to address with mine also.
Wow .. That would have been 1/2 price for the mileage 2 years ago. I would love to know how that car is doing. A buddy of mine that owns a shop has a 360 with 90k
If 1 in 5 are clocked I'm waiting for the guy who says "I'm at 15k, bought it with 30k, used it extensively"
Before I took delivery we discovered that the original headers had never been replaced (that's why the "check engine" light would sometimes come on! Duh.); Ferrari took care of that (8 days left on warranty-$20,000). Rear hub bearing went with almost no warning, hydraulic fluid leak for top mechanism ($2,000+ for both). It's in the shop now for gasoline vapor leak (canister?). Should be easy fix except that you have to "take apart" the rear of the car to get to it.
I had a couple of F1 issues but the root cause was the E diff solenoid. Had to replace the hoses(custom made, Ferrari wanted 26k for a whole kit) then had Solenoid replaced. Just had to get the intake/manifold gaskets replaced (gas smell and CEL). All in it only cost me about $3000 to sort that out and $2500 for the initial service(all fluids, filters, wipers, etc, rear tires). The funny thing is when I drive it none of that matters, it's a great ride!!!
Where are the guys with true high miles (at least over 50k) . I was told that the Nj car was parted out. I never saw it for $65k but I did look at it and it needed cosmetics
We have a 98k mile F430 Spider ( Black ) running around DFW safe and sound... I am betting the owner has crossed the 100k mark by now! S
I wouldn't doubt it's running fine provided it's serviced and maitained properly etc (besides it's a modern supercar after all), but I wonder what would that do the value? Any idea what it would be worth? Mine is at 39k miles and it's already heading towards the lower end of the spectrum, the only thing saving it would be pehaps the red color and cream interior..
In my opinion buying a Ferrari and limiting your time spent enjoying it because you're worried about depreciation when it comes to selling is counterintuitive.
I'm thinking of buying an '07 F430 auto coupe with 46,xxx miles. It's the highest mileage F430 coupe for sale in the country (that I can find). Assuming it's well-maintained (still waiting for the records), what would your concerns be regarding such a high mileage car. Is there anything that definitely should have been done given it's miles / age? For example headers, or pipes, or clutch or ?? (btw, asking price is $100k .. I wouldn't pay that much...)
Lots of $$. 85k maybe... Depends what the PPI says. Clutch was probably replaced. I would do a full service as soon as I get it.
