For anyone interested, I'm organizing a photoshoot for Wednesday the 26th at 11pm at HP Village. Going to be a few Corvettes, Camaros, and Firebirds. You're welcome to bring any sports car you please, so come join us. All sporty makes and models are welcome. :)

Do you have the local constabulary at bay? Ha Ha. 11Pm on the 26th, eh, I have to go to Huntsville in the morning might be able to make it there in something besides the Ferrari Badged Explorer. Where wil you be? On the North side of the village or the South side. I realise it is not very big but cruising that area at that time of night with out a DCC sticker on your car can be an invite for trouble:)

    lol Don. :D

I can't speak for the future, but this past Wednesday, my mother and I had both of our cars there from 10pm til about 11:30pm with no negative run-ins with the HP Police. We mostly stuck around the Jimmy Choo side where the theater is, and the horse drawn carriages assemble. We had a mildly suspicious photoshoot in front of Noble that didn't attract any negative attention either. I believe this area will be the likely location for the shoot. The ideal location, however, will be the area we can park the most cars underneath the trees, without scaring the horses.

So far, the cars confirmed for a likely showing are: 9 Camaros, 2 Corvettes, and 3 Trans Ams. None of which are yellow (as far as I know)--if you'd like to stand out! I requested that everyone behave, so I have faith that they will do so. It should be a nice shoot. Please come if you have the time! :)

Some people will be showing up as early as 10, but if it's cold, I'll likely be showing up around 10:45.

To Don and anyone else interested in coming...

We've changed the time. We're all going to meet at Starbucks (which is open until 10) at 9pm, and park either near Madison and Pockets Menswear or D. Porthault and Haynsworth Photography. These stores are between Starbucks (Preston) and Jimmy Choo (Douglas). So park your car between Starbucks and Jimmy Choo, and walk to Starbucks, order some drinks, and around 9:30 or 10:00 we'll go out to the parking lot and take some pics. Should be a good time. Hope to see some of you guys out there :).
