"The world's Fastest Diesel". I don't normally recommend books, but this one warrants breaking that rule. This is a fantastic book telling the story of the development of the JCB DieselMax with dual JCB444 Diesel engines at 750 bhp each, breaking the Bonneville Salt Flat record of 317.021 mph in August 2006. Lots of engineering and highly skilled mechanical craftsmanship went into this project, along with Millions of British Pounds. I have zero affiliation with writers, editors or publishing firm. I just think if you enjoy mechanical science, machines and a great story, you will surely enjoy this. Cheers.

Not sure if you'd be interested but a great youtube video was recently released by car personality Chris Harris about the 1000mph Bloodhound car in development. Pretty neat.

I saw that video recently. Great technology behind it.
