Does anyone have any experience switching the stock Ferrari shift gate to the aftermarket "slick shift gate" from Hill Engineering? Does it make any difference in ease and quickness of shifting and would you recommend this upgrade?

The search button works almost as good as the Hill gates do!! Just kidding....
Hill Engineering is a site sponsor. Also a great company to deal with. I believe Daniel at Ricambi America is now the N.A. distributor for Hill (also a site sponsor).

They make 2nd defiantly easier to find under quick shifting.

I for one just live with stock. (How odd is that for me to say? :p)

I put them on both my cars and find an improvement particularlu 1st to 2nd on the TR because of the position of first gear. All Hill Eng. products are high quality and they have great service.

... and a nice Hill Engineering Dead Pedal and Pedal Set sure would complete the look! (wink wink)

Already have the pedal set in the car. If you look real close you can see the clutch pedal. The dead pedal is in my office, did not take it home and install yet. Thanks anyway.

I found that with the original gate, when downshifting from 4th to 3rd I would often wind up in 5th instead! Since I switched gates, it hasn't happened even once......
